The role

Looking for a female lead vocalist to write the topline and vocal arrangement on the choruses with me, and to record the final performance in her own space or here in the studio. Reference range roughly A3 to E5. Comfortable sitting on breath, not scared of a full chest voice.

Vigilante lives in the space between restraint and release. It sits low for most of its length — piano, pad, whispered vocal — and opens into a wide, filmic chorus. It's built for a female voice that can carry weight without pushing.

Lyrics
I walk the long way home tonight
Past the light you left on for a stranger
Every window keeps a story quiet
I keep mine in a pocket, close to danger

I don't want a war
I don't want a name
Just a room that doesn't ask me who to blame

Call me vigilante
Call me anything you like
I'll be gone before the morning
Before the second strike
